Meditation: “The Master Key”
The fact that some of us are able to enjoy life and the others are in a constant struggle with life has very little to do with the specific situations we are faced with. Instead it has everything to do with our choices, with the way we decide to think and respond to our situations–whether that response is deliberate, or unconscious.
Of course, changing the way we respond to life’s ups and downs is easier said than done. That’s because our thoughts, disposition, and perceptions are for the most part below the radar of our current level of awareness. In other words, we cannot see them. We don’t even know they exist and are making our decisions for us.
This is a profound problem because it means that we are literally at the mercy of the workings of our mind, unable to grab the steering wheel of our own life, unable to make relevant changes that would bring true happiness and lasting joy. Consequently we become condemned to live life in circles of repeating patterns and situations – over and over again.
Sounds depressing doesn’t it?
Luckily, there is a way out. However, nothing will significantly change unless we first develop an ability to work with our mind and our thoughts. To start seeing what we are creating in this life, without illusions, judgment, or resistance of any kind. How does one do that?
Awareness is the key and meditation brings the awareness necessary to choose what we want.
The first step is to still the mind. Meditation teaches us how we can allow our incessant, redundant, and-often-neurotic thoughts to settle down, bringing us more clarity.
Meditation sharpens your concentration and thinking power. Over time, your own subconscious motives and mechanics become clear to you. Your intuition sharpens. Your confidence increases as you start to be able to rely upon your newfound clarity and understanding. You start noticing that your daily worries are no longer able to distract you from what you are doing. Your interactions with your friends, family and co-workers improve as your own mental steadiness brings much needed calm into your interactions with them.
It sounds wonderful doesn’t it?
The power to do this is inside YOU!
It’s time to begin your journey of choosing the life you want, of tapping you own personal power and creating the health, wealth, love, and amazing self expression within.
You are the power you seek and the journey to your own power is half the fun.
